How to go Kluang from Singapore?

We went to Kluang from Singapore via this route. 

Bus 170 at Singapore Kranji MRT ➔ KTM train at JB Sentral ➔ Kluang

In this post below, we will share how to go Kluang from JB Sentral by KTM train. 

We took the first train of the day at 0830am and scheduled to reach Kluang at 1042am. This is also the train to Gemas to transit to KL https://www.sgbestbargain.sg/2023/05/how-to-go-kl-by-train.html.

We brought our round trip KTM train ticket using the KTM app. RM14 per person for one way. Round trip RM28 per person.

We reached JB Sentral Railway station at around 730am. Be there at least 30 minutes earlier. The train departs at 830am sharp.

Around 8am, there will be a staff starting to direct you to the train. You will see people starting to queue at Gate B. 

Go to Gate B. Gate A is for JB Sentral to Singapore https://www.sgbestbargain.sg/2023/02/how-to-take-train-from-jb-to-singapore.html.

While queuing, get ready the ticket QR code on your app to show the staff. You may also take a screenshot of your ticket QR code in case technical issue. Some printed the hard copy. 

Proceed to platform after showing the ticket.

Onboard cafe (but not open on our KTM train ride)

Reached Kluang at around 1040am.

There is only one pathway to exit. So just follow the pathway.

The famous Kluang Rail Coffee is over there right after exit the station.

Take the stairs down and you will see Kluang Rail Coffee.

We bought a return ticket on the same day from Kluang back to JB Sentral.

Our ride is from 5.54pm to 7.45pm, around 1 hour 50 minutes. This is also the last train ride of the day.

The pathway to the platform is exactly the same pathway as we exited earlier.

You can use the stair or use the slope if you have luggage. 

We walked to the platform using the slope. 

Then continue walking until you see this platform sign where left is the slope and right is the staircase to the platform.
