In this post, we will share how we took a ferry to Penang Island from Butterworth station.

It is about ten minutes walk from the Butterworth station to the Ferry terminal.

The ferry ride is also about ten minutes. 

Free for Malaysian and RM1.20 per adult for foreigner

After exited from the gantry, turn left.

Follow the signs to the ferry terminal

Follow the pathway

Take the escalator down. There is lift available too. 

Continue to follow the pathway

You can go Penang Sentral mall for some food or shop for some necessities.

 

Or continue to the ferry terminal.

Next ferry departure time.

Take the lift down

Follow the foot steps.

Ticket counter to buy the ferry ticket.

Foreigner at RM1.20 per pax. Malaysian free.

Scan your ferry ticket to the waiting area.
