How to walk to Hiap Joo Bakery

As requested by my sgbestbargain.sg readers in Telegram (https://t.me/sgbestbargain_community) for a walking guide to Hiap Joo Bakery, the famous Banana Cake.

In this post, we will share how to walk from JB City Square to the Hiap Joo Bakery Banana cake shop.

The walk from JB City Square to the Hiap Joo Bakery Banana cake shop is about ten minutes. No shelter. Bring an umbrella if you need to.

Turn left after the exit from the City Square Burger King at ground floor or level one

Follow this path

There is a traffic light in front. (you will also see a Maybank and UOB bank on your left)

Cross the traffic light. continue to walk straight and follow the pathway.

You will see the JB Famous Kam Long curry fish head after about one minutes walk. 

In front of the JB Kam Long curry fish head, there is a "zebra crossing". Cross safely and turn left.

Follow the pathway. 

While you follow the pathway, take a look at the JB Famous Ya Wang Roasted Duck on your right.

When you see this bridge, cross the bridge and walk straight in.

You will see this shophouse on your right when you approaching the end of the road. 

This is where the famous JB Ya Wang Roasted duck restaurant used to be.

Turn left and follow the road you will see Moh Heng Lee.

Moh Heng Lee is a provision shop or mama shop.

Just continue walking toward the corner then turn right and you will see Hua Mui Restoran. 

Hui Mui Restoran serves many favorite local cuisines, it is another JB must eat!

Opposite Hua Mui, you will see the Tong Guan building. Cross the road safely and walk toward it. 

Spot the Ah Ma Teo Chew Kuih and walk toward that direction.

There is a coffeeshop Kin Hua a few shop houses away from Ah Ma Teo Chew Kuih 

Opposite the coffeeshop, you will see the famous Hiap Joo Bakery banana cake!
