Review of our stay at St Giles Hotel at Mid Valley Southkey Johor Bahru (https://www.sgbestbargain.sg/2022/08/how-to-go-mid-valley-jb.html).

We booked the urban room. About SGD100 per night (off peak price).

Check-in time at 3pm and check-out time at 12pm. 

The urban room size is about 28 sqm (about 1/3 of the size of a 4 room 90 sqm flat in Singapore).

Spacious for two people.

Strongly recommended as the hotel is really new. Reception staff and security guards are very friendly. 

Directly connected to Mid Valley JB mall where you can go for a movie, shopping, etc. 

But we strongly recommend you to stay in the room to rest and relax. And there are movies in the television in your room or simply enjoy the hotel facilities like swimming pool or gym at the top floor of the hotel. We like the water dispenser very much because it is touchless using sensor, hence very hygienic!

Other useful information

The hotel is directly connected to the Mid Valley Southkey JB shopping mall, hence it is very convenient. 

If you are taking public transport (https://www.sgbestbargain.sg/2022/08/how-to-go-mid-valley-jb.html) to the hotel, look out for the KOI bubble tea shop at ground floor of Mid Valley Southkey JB shopping mall..

The "small" entrance to go to the St Giles Southkey hotel via Mid Valley Southkey JB shopping mall.

Do note that you need your hotel room key card to access the "small" entrance after 10pm to 10am.

If you drive, grab or hire private car via sgmyjb.com, this is the main entrance. 

Room key card is needed to access the lift.
