Get ready to press the bus bell. Press the bus bell when you spot the Kampung Melayu Majidee Johor Bahru on your left. Walk towards the Kampung Melayu on your left after alighting from the bus. This is the bus stop when you look back.  Welcome to Kampung Melayu Majidee Johor Bahru!  It is a good spot for breakfast! And there is Pasar Malam starting about 5pm every Monday.

Take Bus J11 at JB Sentral Bus Bay 10. RM3.30 per pax.  Alight at the bus stop in front of AEON Dato Onn. The journey from JB Sentral to AEON Dato Onn is about 1 hour 30 minutes. Take the same Bus J11 at the same bus stop alight earlier to go back JB Sentral from AEON Dato Onn . The bus trip from JB Larkin to Johor Batu Pahat is about 2 hour 30 minutes. I went to Batu Pahat for a day trip. Took the bus KKKL at Larkin at 9am.  The bus ticket for KKKL from JB Larkin to Johor Batu Pahat costs RM16. I bought the bus ticket at the kiosk at Larkin Bus Terminal. The seat insides the bus. Bata Pahat Mall. Reached Batu Pahat at about 11.30am. Most of the eating places and cafes are walkable distance from the Batu Pahat bus terminal. I took the bus S&S International at 6.20pm from Johor Batu Pahat to JB Larkin. The bus ticket costs RM16 per pax.  I bought the ticket when I arrived at Batu Pahat Bus Terminal. It is better to buy online first because the bus tickets were last few before sold out. Reached JB Larkin at around 9pm.

Now can take the Free Shuttle Bus from JB Sentral to R&F Mall instead of walking the bridge (refer to the end of this post). In this post, I will share where to take the free shuttle bus. Look out for the shuttle bus (second from left) at JB Sentral. First bus at JB Sentral 4.50am. Last bus at JB Sentral 11pm. Shuttle bus at JB R&F Mall near the D'Shanghai Dim Sum. First bus at JB R&F Mall 4.30am. Last bus at JB R&F Mall 10.30pm. The bus ride is about five minutes with 40 minutes frequency. There are mainly two transport companies to and from JB Larkin Sentral and Tangkak daily - City Express and Topliner.   The bus ticket price for City Express is RM19.10 while Topliner is RM25. I took the bus from Topliner at Larkin. Do note that bus from Topliner does not go to the Tangkak Bus Terminal. Hence, need to take Grab from the drop off point below to the Tangkak Bus Terminal where there are more places to explore and eat.  Bus City Express goes to the Tangkak Bus Terminal. But there is only one bus ride from City Express in the morning from Larkin to Tangkak daily. This is why I took the bus from Topliner.  So buy the bus ticket online early if you plan to take the bus from City Express to the Tangkak Bus Terminal.  The bus ride is about 3 hours.

Update as of October 2025 : Take bus J33 instead of T33. Take bus T33 at JB Sentral Bus Bay 1. The bus will pass by Angsana Mall. This is the bus stop to B5 Johor Street Market and Angsana Mall. The bus will turns left shortly after the bus stop to B5 Johor Street Market and Angsana Mall. Spot the river and KFC on your left after the bus turns left  Press the bus bell to alight.  The bus stop does not have a shelter. Walk towards the overhead bridge and Giant signboard to Perling Mall. The bus fare is RM2.10 per pax. The bus ride is about 35 minutes.
